As each individual has their own idea of a covered bridge, there is no ‘cookie-cutter’ design. Our covered timber frame walking bridges can be ordered in 10 foot long increments, which are typically 6-8 feet wide. The bridge pictured is built with a dormer - a nice place to fish from, watch the beautiful wildlife or simply relax. You may also choose to have a traditional, straight span walking bridge. If you deside to name your bridge, we would gladly router it into one of the 2 inch deck boards or on a separate nameplate.

In constructing our bridges, white pine logs are used, which we saw ourselves. The joints, mortises and tenons are cut and the sections are assembled on the premises as well.

There are a few different options for shipping your bridge to you. Within reason, we would load it on a trailer and drive it to you, ship it on a commercial flatbed trailer or load it into a shipping container. Depending on the height of the particular order, we may need to ship your bridge with the rafters precut and secured on the deck of the bridge. We can give load capacities upon knowing your desired length requested and type of wood used.
